Jenn Balogh (pronounced “Bay-low”) is BBK’s Director of Evaluation and Research. Jenn is working with the BBK’s backbone staff and community partners to determine which of the Collaborative’s innovative programs are making a real difference in the Iron Triangle community. For over 20 years, Jenn has been helping nonprofits and community groups make better decisions using local data. She believes that BBK’s work to promote community engagement, school partnerships and digital literacy offers exciting new opportunities for resident involvement in program planning and evaluation efforts.
Jenn obtained her B.S. from University of California at Riverside, where she studied anthropology, sociology and psychology. Jennifer received her MPH in Behavioral Sciences, and her MSW in Planning and Mental Health, both from UC Berkeley.
(Jenn is also an expert on cowboy boots. She is author of the book, Cowboy Boots: The Art & Sole (Rizzoli, 2007) with foreword by country star, Dwight Yoakam.)
